Eric Verdin, M.D.
President and CEO
The Buck Institute for Research on Aging
One of the world’s most highly cited scientists, Dr. Eric Verdin has
led the Buck since 2016. His lab studies the relationship between aging and the immune
system.
A native of Belgium, Dr. Verdin received his medical degree from the University of Liege
and completed additional training at Harvard Medical School. He previously held
positions at University of Brussels, National Institutes of Health, Picower Institute
and Gladstone Institutes.
